Cooking

I have met mothers who tag their kids as fuzzy eaters. These mothers compulsarily stuff the kids with the food what they prepare. Atleast that's how I have seen in the case of this group. One thing that I have noticed about this group is that they are either too busy to cook or are lazy cooks.

Instead of feeding forcibly something the kid has no interest or liking, why don't they spend some time to cook something which their children feel comfortable with.Let them feel, explore and eat the food.Your success lies in arousing interest in the food offered to your baby.

Allow the child to play and eat. At times, eating is also educational. Kids learn about textures, temperatures, shapes, colors, etc.I request all mothers to take some time and experiment and cook something-simple, easy, child friendly and nutritious at home. After all, cooking is not as tedious or time consuming as you think.

Believe me. I once thought cooking is boring. But once you really start looking for quick recipes for the kids, you may find yourself doing something which you wouldn't have tried before the child came along. The satisfaction will be great. Some even believe that cooking de-stresses you. Bon cooking!
